Looking for site contributors
The topic should say everything… I’m looking for people to contribute content to this site, to make it better and more useful to everyone. But how does one submit content? Unfortunately I don’t have open user account subscriptions on the main page. So basically you write up your article (in text or HTML), E-Mail it to me (octo@logicprobe.org), and I’ll post it on the site. If your article includes any files or images, send those too and I can also host them on the server. Down the road, if you want to take a more regular role in contributing to the site, I can always make a user account for you. You just need to ask for it.
Additionally, if anyone wants to offer a nicer logo, or better Wordpress layout template for the site, feel free to do so. I know it isn’t the most asthetically pleasing design, and was all I could come up with at the time. (and I can even work with you to provide a copy of what I’ve thrown together for now, since I did have to do some custom tweaks for the site behavior I wanted.)

I have a PV 650F and picked up a SPS on ebay, replaced its batteries and according the PV it is “charging” but never seems to come ready even though the LED on the back of SPS indicates it is ready. Made a cable per instructions on website.
I’m hoping to get the last details settled out in preparation for writing a quick how to article.
Any ideas?

I’ll help! =D Though I would prefer more a wiki styled editing system… You could always allow user registration with and then up there level to posting level and they could then write their own page… I actually had a site like this setup called “The gibson project” but it got blown away in a recent rebuild, should be up soon again though, maybe we should migrate the projects…

Yeah, I was originally opposed to the idea of a Wiki. However, the more I think about it, I’m starting to change my stance. This WordPress setup, while a lot faster (albeit simpler looking) than the old Plone site, leaves much to be desired. I need to start doing some research to find a good Wiki system that’ll let me protect against “evil users” yet still be ideally suited for this site.
Any suggestions?
